In an article, published in MIT Technology Review the Tulip genome project is mentioned as one of the projects that can only be done using nanopore sequencing on the high throughput sequencing instrument, the PromethION.
And in another article that appeared in the UC Santa Cruz Research Magazine Inquiry Christiaan Henkel is cited describing the European eel and the Tulip genome projects.
